Why am I experiencing sharp pain during sex?

The past two times my husband and I had sex I experienced sharp pain in the area of my ovaries. I have never had this happen before and we weren't doing anything different than normal. I actually only felt it on one side. This seems very strange to me, but I also am concerned I might be pregnant. I don't know if this would have anything to do with it.. Please help!
